How to Harness the Power of the Full Moon

The full moon has long been associated with mystical and spiritual significance. The moon’s energy is at its peak, making it an ideal time for various rituals and practices. In this blog post, we’ll explore the concept of making moon water during a full moon and provide other things you can do to harness the power of the full moon.

For our full moon ritual, see here

Making Moon Water:
Harnessing the Power of the Full Moon.

Moon water is water that has been charged with the energy of the full moon. To make moon water, follow these simple steps:

Find a clean glass jar or container and fill it with filtered or spring water.

Place the jar outside in a spot where it will be directly exposed to the moonlight.

Leave the jar overnight, allowing the water to absorb the moon’s energy.

In the morning, bring the jar inside and store it in a cool, dark place.

You can use moon water for various purposes, such as cleansing (some) crystals, adding to baths, or in rituals.

Full Moon Meditation:

The full moon is an excellent time for meditation and reflection. Find a quiet and comfortable space, preferably outdoors if possible, where you can sit or lie down. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and focus on the moon’s energy. Visualise the moonlight enveloping you, filling you with calmness and clarity. Use this time to set intentions, release negative energy, or simply connect with the universe.

Cleansing and Charging Crystals:

The full moon is an opportune time to cleanse and charge your crystals. Place your crystals outside under the moonlight, allowing them to absorb the moon’s energy. This process helps to cleanse any negative energy accumulated in the crystals and recharge them with positive vibrations. Remember to research the specific needs of each crystal, as some may require different methods of cleansing and charging.

Moonlit Walk

If possible, take a moonlit walk during the full moon. Connect with nature and soak in the moon’s energy. Make sure you stay safe, though.

I highly recommend the Pagan Portals books. Take a look here

For hedgeriding, I recommend Pagan Portals-Hedge Riding by  Harmonia Saille. But do read her first book, Pagan Portals Hedge Witchcraft. Both books are beautifully written and easy to follow.
